Composition of the Legal Committee

The Legal Committee of the 40th session of the General Conference elected by acclamation Mr Pierre Michel Eisemann (France) as Chairperson, Mr Ghazi Gherairi (Tunisia) as Vice-Chairperson and Mr Miguel Angel Hildmann (Argentina) as Rapporteur.

The Legal Committee of the 40th session of the General Conference was composed of the following 16 members¹ elected at the 39th session (Resolution 39 C/025) :

¹ Group I presented two candidates for the five vacant seats, Group II did not present candidates for the three vacant seats, Group IV presented three candidates for the four vacant seats and Group V(a) presented two candidates for the three vacant seats. As a result, only 16 members were proposed for election by the General Conference at its 39th session.
