Global awareness and knowledge exchange

The BES-Net ILK Support Unit strives to create awareness on the importance and contributions of Indigenous and local knowledge, particularly on biodiversity conservation, in close collaboration with BES-Net consortium partners (UNDP and UNEP-WCMC) and Indigenous Peoples’ organizations and networks. Global awareness and knowledge exchange is done through interactive webinars and fora, visual and audio resources, and human-interest articles.
