MONDIACULT 2022 | Preparatory Process

In the run-up to the UNESCO-MONDIACULT 2022 World Conference, UNESCO is driving an inclusive and multi-stakeholder preparatory process, mobilizing a wide range of actors of the cultural and creative sectors, from Member States to intergovernmental organizations, academia, including UNESCO Chairs, civil society organizations and other partners. A series of five Regional Consultations are organized from December 2021 to February 2022 to map current trends pertaining to cultural policies, notably in the context of the post‐pandemic recovery strategies, and identify priorities for the future. As part of the preparatory process leading to the UNESCO-MONDIACULT 2022 World Conference, global dialogues of civil society and relevant professional stakeholders will be stirred under the ResiliArt x Mondiacult platform to provide critical insights and perspectives on culture and cultural policies globally.
