Join the #DanceForEducation campaign!

As the African Union celebrates 2024 as Year of Education, UNESCO and the SDG4 High-Level Steering Committee want to leverage the voices of education champions, including youth, teachers, political leaders, influencers, civil society, and the private sector to continue growing the global movement for education on the African continent and beyond.

UNESCO is teaming up with the internationally acclaimed Ivorian band, Magic System, to launch a new version of the band’s hit song ‘Magic in the Air’.

Entitled ‘Education in the Air’, the song has been rewritten to promote the message that education is key to unlock Africa’s economic and human potential.

Lyrics

Education’s in the air

Allez, allez, allez

Pour un avenir meilleur

Education’s in the air

Allez, allez, allez

Pour un avenir meilleur

Education’s in the air

Allez, allez, allez

Pour un avenir meilleur

*get loud

Comme d’habitude on est calés

Pour parler d’éducation

Education sans exclusion

Filles, garçons et réfugiés

Transformons l’éducation,

Et sans hésitation

La technologie c’est pour nos avenirs

Transformons l’éducation,

Et sans hésitation

La technologie ooooohhhh !

Education’s in the air

Allez, allez, allez

Pour un avenir meilleur

Education’s in the air

Allez, allez, allez

Pour un avenir meilleur

Education’s in the air

Allez, allez, allez

Pour un avenir meilleur
